The BOKE driver is the professional LED dimming driver recommended by SunshinePanel for controlling all your 60x60 cm and 120x60 cm decorative LED panels. Compatible with DALI, PUSH, and 0-10V, it adapts to the most demanding installations: commercial offices, medical practices, hotels, and restaurants. Premium construction, certified No Flicker technology, 3-year warranty.

DALI, PUSH, or 0-10V: which protocol should you choose for your LED panels?

The three dimming protocols are not intended for the same projects. Here is how to choose:

  • DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface): digital protocol in which each driver has a unique address. Ideal for large spaces (open-plan offices, hotels) where several lighting zones must be controlled independently from an automation system or building management system. Dimming is precise to 0.1% and consistently reproducible.
  • PUSH (push button): simple dimming using a short or long press on a standard button, without any additional wiring. The fastest choice for an individual installation or independent office. Compatible with all standard switches on the market.
  • 0-10V: traditional analog signal, widely used in existing automation systems (Lutron, KNX, Helvar). Enables smooth linear dimming from 0 to 100%. Recommended when the installation already has a 0-10V controller.

The BOKE driver supports all three modes simultaneously: a single reference covers all your projects, regardless of the control system in place.

Compatibility with SunshinePanel 60x60 and 120x60 LED panels

This driver is designed and tested to work with the entire SunshinePanel range:

  • 60x60 cm panels (40W): one panel per driver. Direct connection to the output terminals. Output current factory-set to 900 mA for optimal brightness at 4000K.
  • 120x60 cm panels (72W): also compatible. Check the driver's output power (42W maximum) — for 120x60 panels, use the dedicated 72W BOKE model.
  • 4-, 6-, and 9-panel packs: allow for one driver per panel. The panels are wired in parallel on the same DALI bus or with individual PUSH control per zone.

Step-by-step wiring

Installing the BOKE driver does not require a specialized electrician. Here is the standard procedure:

  1. Switch off the power at the electrical panel before carrying out any work.
  2. Connect the mains input: Live (L) to the driver's L terminal, Neutral (N) to the N terminal. Input voltage: 200-240V AC 50/60Hz.
  3. Connect the output to the panel: + terminal to the panel's + terminal, - terminal to the -. Observe the polarity to prevent malfunction.
  4. Choose the dimming mode:
    • PUSH mode: connect the PUSH signal cable to the DIM+ and DIM- terminals (or PUSH1/PUSH2 depending on the version). Then connect your standard push button.
    • DALI mode: connect the two DALI bus wires (polarity not required) to the DA1 and DA2 terminals. Address the driver from your DALI controller.
    • 0-10V mode: connect the 0-10V signal to the corresponding terminals. The panel switches off below 0.5V and reaches full power at 10V.
  5. Check the enclosure's watertightness if installing in a damp suspended ceiling (standard IP20 rating, IP44 available on request).
  6. Restore the power and test the dimming. The panel should gradually increase in brightness without flickering.

Why No Flicker is essential in professional environments

Flicker invisible to the naked eye (frequencies of 80-3000Hz) causes eye strain, headaches, and reduced concentration at workstations. EN 12464-1 recommends an SVM (Stroboscopic Visibility Measure) below 1 for offices and care environments. The BOKE driver guarantees an SVM < 0.4, well below this threshold, making it ideal for:

  • Medical and dental practices (demanding lighting standards)
  • Open-plan offices and meeting rooms (8 hours per day of screen-based work)
  • Nursing homes and convalescent facilities (increased sensitivity to light stimuli)
  • Photo and video studios (elimination of camera banding effects)

Available from stock in France. Ships within 48 hours. Compatible with the entire range of SunshinePanel decorative LED panels. Questions about integrating it into your project? Contact our technical team.

What you need to know before ordering

Yes. Our panels are CE-certified and used in medical practices, waiting rooms, offices, and restaurants. The biophilic effect reduces patient stress and improves employee well-being.
Yes, high-resolution UV printing on a PMMA diffuser, combined with LED backlighting, creates a highly convincing trompe-l’œil fake skylight. Many visitors think they are looking at a real opening. We explain the technology in detail in our comparison of printed vs. white panels.
It depends on the area to cover and the desired effect. For a small skylight, 1 to 2 panels are enough. For a complete glass roof, our 4-, 6-, or 9-panel packs offer better value. See our calculation guide to estimate how many you need.
The driver is included with each panel. If your ceiling doesn’t have a grid suspended ceiling, a surface-mounting kit is available as an accessory. If you’re unsure, send us a photo of your ceiling.
Installation is simple: remove a standard tile from your suspended ceiling (T-grid), place the light panel in its place, and connect the driver. 5 minutes, with no special tools. Everything is explained in our step-by-step installation guide.
Our panels emit 4000K (neutral white), the recommended standard for professional spaces. This temperature best reproduces natural light without being too cool. Find more details in our guide to color temperatures.
Yes, the panels are designed to fit together. In 2×1, 2×2, 3×2, or 3×3 configurations, they create a continuous decorative illuminated ceiling. Discover our multi-panel packs with a built-in discount.
All our panels come with a 3-year warranty (LED, driver, and print). Lifespan: 50,000 hours, equivalent to 15+ years under standard office use. The print does not yellow. Free delivery in mainland France.
DALI is a digital protocol that enables precise zone control from a home automation system. PUSH-DIM is simpler: a standard switch is all you need to adjust the brightness with successive clicks. If you do not have a home automation system, PUSH is more than sufficient.
Yes, the Boke driver is compatible with all our 60×60 cm LED panels (40W, 6–38V output, 450–1100mA). It is also compatible with most standard LED panels on the market within the same power range.
Yes, each LED panel requires its own driver. The driver is included with each panel in our catalog—you do not need to order one separately unless you are replacing an existing driver or upgrading to a dimmable driver.
